Viewing and Searching Projects

Browse, search, and filter the list of projects for your store.

The Projects tab lists every project matching your current search and filters. A project groups a piece of work — most commonly a rental — around a customer and, usually, a linked order, and tracks it through its own workflow rather than the order's status. This page is read-only: it is for finding a project and opening it. Advancing a project or editing its customer, partner, or rental details is done from the project detail screen.

The Projects tab only appears for employees whose role is granted the Projects navigation access right, and only when Projects is enabled for your tenant. If the tab is missing, ask your administrator to check your assigned role under Access Rights and Roles and confirm Projects is included in your Omnium subscription.

Reading the projects list

Each card in the list shows:

FieldDescription
HeadingThe project number, or a short internal ID if there is no project number — falls back to the project name or type when neither is short enough to display
NameShown underneath the heading when it differs from it
Status pillColour-coded current status (see Status colours below)
Project typee.g. a rental project type configured for your tenant
CreatedThe date the project was created
StoreThe project's main store
CustomerThe customer attached to the project, if any
TagsAny tags configured on the project

Status colours

Status text can be relabelled for your tenant. If your administrator has configured a custom translation for a status, that text is shown instead of the raw status name below.

ColourStatusMeaning
GreenActiveThe project is in progress
OrangeWorkflowCompletedThe project has finished its workflow
RedCancelled / CancelledByCustomer / CancelledByInternal / CancelledByPartnerThe project has been cancelled
Neutral (grey)Any other statusNo special colour is applied

Searching for a project

Tap the search bar at the top of the screen and type a name or keyword. Results update automatically shortly after you stop typing.

Filtering the list

Tap the tune (filter) icon beside the search bar to open the Filters drawer. A small blue dot on the icon shows that a filter is currently active.

The drawer contains:

ControlWhat it does
Market & StoreCollapsible selector limiting the list to one or more markets or stores. Selecting a market narrows the store list to stores available on that market.
Sort bySee Sorting below
Project typeMulti-select list of project types configured for your tenant
StatusMulti-select list of statuses that currently exist in your project data

Active Project type and Status filters also appear as removable chips under the search bar — tap the x on a chip to remove that one filter, or tap Clear All at the top of the drawer to remove every filter at once. Tap Apply Filters to close the drawer; filter changes take effect immediately as you make them, so this button is mainly for closing the panel.

Paging

The total number of matching projects and the current page are shown at the bottom of the screen. Use the paging controls to move between pages; each page holds 20 projects.

If a Store or Market filter is selected that resolves to no accessible store for your account, the list shows zero results rather than silently widening the search to all stores.

Opening a project

Tap anywhere on a project card to open its Project Workflow and Status page.
