Last Purchased
See the attached customer's most recent purchases on the Home screen, and drill into any line item or order from there.
The Last Purchased block shows the line items the attached customer has bought recently. It surfaces straight on the Home screen so staff can quickly recognise repeat purchases, identify items the customer might want again, and follow up on returns or cancellations from earlier orders.
The block only appears once a customer is attached to the active cart — without a customer there is nothing to show. From the block, staff can tap any item to open the source order, or open a full searchable list of the customer's previous orders.
Prerequisites
- A customer attached to the active cart (see Adding a Customer to the Sale)
- The Last Purchased block enabled in your Home layout — it is user-added rather than part of the default Home, so a manager needs to switch it on from the Home settings
If the Last Purchased block isn't showing, check two things first: that a customer has been attached to the cart, and that the block is enabled in the tenant's Home layout under Settings (the toggle is labelled Last Purchased).
How the block reads
When a customer is attached, the block fetches the customer's 20 most recent orders and lays the line items out as a single horizontal row of compact cards. Each card represents one line on one order.

What's on each card
| Element | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Product image | Thumbnail of the product, or a generic image icon if no image is on file |
| Product name | The line's display name, truncated to two lines |
| Variant text | Colour and/or size if those are set on the line |
xN | Quantity originally purchased on that line |
| Returned badge (orange) | The line has one or more returned units |
| Cancelled badge (red) | The line has one or more cancelled units |
The order ribbon
Above each card is a thin coloured ribbon. The first card from a given order shows #<order number> · <date> in the accent colour; subsequent cards from the same order share the ribbon (no repeated label) so staff can see at a glance which lines belong together.
Empty state
If the customer has no previous orders, the block shows No previous orders found in place of the cards. The block is fetched once when the customer is attached and refetched whenever the customer on the cart changes.
Opening the source order
Tap any line item card to navigate straight to the Order details page for the order that line belongs to. From there you can carry out any standard follow-up: viewing the full order, starting a return, reprinting the receipt, and so on.
Opening the full Last Purchased list
The compact row on the Home block only fits a handful of cards at a time. To see the customer's full order history with search and filters, open the extended view.
- On the Last Purchased block, tap the read-more icon at the top right (visible only when there is at least one line item to show).
- The Last Purchased page opens, scoped to the attached customer.
Searching the customer's orders
- Tap the search field at the top and start typing. Search runs automatically about half a second after you stop typing.
- The placeholder text reads Search orders….
- Searches are limited to this customer's orders — you do not need to filter by customer manually.
Filtering the customer's orders
- Tap the tune icon on the right of the search field.
- The filter drawer slides in from the right.
- Choose any combination of order number, email, phone, customer name, created-from / created-to dates, ready-for-pickup dates, statuses, and order types.
- Close the drawer to apply. Active filters appear as chips just below the search field, and a small accent-coloured badge on the tune icon shows how many are applied.
Reading the results list
- Orders are grouped under a header showing the receipt icon, order number, and creation date.
- Each line item under that order appears as a row with the product image, name, variant, quantity, and any Returned / Cancelled badges, followed by a chevron pointing right.
- Tap any row (or any line) to open the Order details page for that order.
Paging through results
If the customer has more orders than fit on one page, the bottom bar shows the total order count on the left and paging controls on the right.
| Control | What it does |
|---|---|
| First-page icon | Jumps to page 1 |
| Chevron left | Previous page |
current/total | Current page out of total pages |
| Chevron right | Next page |
| Last-page icon | Jumps to the final page |
Disabled controls fade out when you are already at the start or end.
Empty state on the full page
If a search or filter combination matches nothing, the page shows No previous orders found in the centre. Clear the search field or remove the filter chips to widen the result set again.
Variations
What happens when the customer is changed
If a different customer is attached to the active cart while you are on the Home screen, the Last Purchased block automatically refetches for the new customer. If the customer is removed from the cart entirely, the block disappears.
Returned and cancelled lines
A line that was partially returned or cancelled still appears in the block and the full list — the badges make it clear that some quantity went back. Use the source order to see how many units were returned or cancelled and to start a follow-up if needed.
