Home Blocks
Configure which blocks appear on the Home screen and arrange them for your store.
The Home screen is made up of configurable blocks called Home Items. Each device can have its own set of blocks, arranged in whatever order best suits the staff using it. You can add product shortcuts, print template buttons, and special summary blocks such as Last Purchased and Recommendations.
Changes take effect immediately and are stored on the device. Other devices are not affected.
Opening Home Items settings
- Tap Settings in the navigation sidebar.
- Tap Home Items.
The Home Items screen shows a visual grid preview of your current blocks. Tap the + (add) button in the top-right corner to add new blocks.

Customer Selector and Product Search are built-in blocks. They appear with a lock icon and cannot be deleted — only reordered.
Last Purchased, Recommendations, Sell Gift Card, Return, Put Sale on Hold, and Retrieve Sale can each be added once. Their menu entries are greyed out if one is already present.
The Sell Gift Card tile only appears when giftCardEnabled is enabled in tenant settings — see Gift Card Configuration.
Adding a block
Tap the + button in the top-right corner. A menu appears with options depending on your tenant configuration:
| Option | What it adds |
|---|---|

| Add Print Template | A print button linked to one or more receipt templates |
| Add Last Purchased | A full-width block showing the current customer's recent purchases |
| Add Recommendations | A full-width block showing product recommendations |
| Add Sell Gift Card | A tile that opens the gift card selling flow (requires gift card feature to be enabled) |
| Add Return | A tile that opens the return/exchange flow |
| Add Put Sale on Hold | A tile that parks the active cart so it can be retrieved later |
| Add Retrieve Sale | A tile that opens a list of parked carts to resume |
Adding a Product block
- Tap + → Select Product.
- The Select Product screen opens with a search field.
- Type the product name, SKU, or EAN to search. Results appear as you type.
- Tap a product in the list to select it:
- If the product is a single SKU, it is added immediately.
- If the product has variants, a variant selection screen opens.
- On the variant screen, choose one of two options:
- Select whole product — the tile opens a variant selector when tapped on the Home screen.
- Tap a specific variant row — the tile adds only that variant to the cart.
- The block is added to the grid at the next available position.
Adding a Print Template block
- Tap + → Add Print Template.
- The Add Print Template screen opens.
- Enter a name in the Tile Name field — this label appears on the block on the Home screen.
- Tap the Icon selector to choose an icon from the grid. Tap your chosen icon to select it, then tap Cancel to close the picker.
- Toggle Select order lines on if you want staff to choose which order lines to include each time they print.
- In the Select Templates section, tick one or more receipt templates. Use the search field or the All / Sale Receipt / Other filter chips to narrow the list.
- Tap Save in the top-right corner.
Save is disabled until at least one template is ticked. If no templates are listed, no receipt templates have been configured for your tenant — contact your system administrator.
Adding Last Purchased or Recommendations
Tap + → Add Last Purchased or Add Recommendations. The block is added immediately with no configuration needed. It spans the full width of the grid.

Tap any block in the grid to open a bottom sheet with options. The available actions depend on the block type.

Block sizes
Product and Print Template blocks support three sizes. The grid automatically re-flows remaining blocks when a size changes.
| Size | Grid span |
|---|---|
| S (Small) | 1 column |
| M (Medium) | 2 columns |
| L (Large) | 3 columns |
The number of visible columns in the grid adapts to screen width: 3 on narrow screens, 4 on medium screens, and 6 on large screens. Full-width blocks always span all columns regardless of this setting.
