Release highlights
- Gift card payment at checkout — cashiers can pay with a gift card or credit note directly in the payment dialog.
- Credit note as refund method — returns can now issue a credit note (tilgodelapp) instead of refunding to the original payment method.
- Refund method selection — cashiers choose between original payment method and credit note in the return flow UI.
- Cart preview as dialog — the cart preview has been redesigned as a modal dialog.
- Camera & scanner in purchase orders — barcode scanner and camera now work in purchase order and goods reception flows.
- Highlight newly added cart items — cart lines briefly animate when a product is scanned or quantity is bumped.
What's new
Gift Card & Credit Note
A full gift card and credit note payment and refund flow has been added end to end.
Gift card payment at checkout — cashiers can now pay with a gift card or credit note directly from the payment dialog.
- A gift card tile appears in the payment dialog when the tenant has the GiftCard payment method configured.
- Tapping the tile opens a balance lookup page showing the card balance, expiry date, and type (Gift Card / Credit Note).
- Info rows show the amount that will be charged and the remaining balance after the transaction.
- The apply button has two states: green when the full cart balance is covered, amber when it is a partial payment.
- The applied amount is capped at the cart's remaining unpaid balance so gift cards cannot over-pay.
Credit note as refund method — returns can now issue a credit note (tilgodelapp) instead of refunding to the original payment method.
- The credit note validity period is configurable per tenant (in months).
- Credit note payments use the GiftCard payment method name for correct financial reporting.
- Fixed a double-issuance bug on idempotent retry so retried return requests do not create a second credit note.
Refund method selection — the return flow UI now lets cashiers explicitly choose between refunding to the original payment method or issuing a credit note.
Cart
Cart preview as dialog — the cart preview panel has been redesigned as a modal dialog, providing a cleaner full-screen overview without navigating away from the sales flow.
Highlight newly added items — when a product is scanned or its quantity is bumped by a re-scan, the corresponding cart line briefly glows and animates so the cashier can immediately see what landed. The highlight is suppressed on initial cart population and fades out automatically. Also fixes a visual gap that appeared after swiping a line to delete it.
Purchase Orders & Goods Reception
Camera & barcode scanner support — purchase orders and the goods reception flow now support scanning via the device camera or a connected barcode scanner, making it faster to look up and confirm products without typing.
RFID Labels
In-store RFID label fixes — several fixes to the in-store RFID label printing flow:
- Fixed an issue where variant prints did not render correctly.
- Added parentId to label data for correct product hierarchy.
- Delivery prints are now enriched from the full product record.
Multi-user
Cart and view reset on user switch — when a cashier logs out and another user logs in on a shared device, the cart and current view are now properly reset, preventing leftover state from a previous session. Includes login filter fixes and crash fixes.

Known limitations
This is a beta release. The following limitations are known and will be addressed in upcoming builds:
- iOS build — not yet available as a ready-to-install package; build is manual only.
- Previous builds are stored in the
Previous/folder on Google Drive and are not guaranteed to be stable. - Features listed in this release have been tested internally but may behave differently across device configurations and network environments.
